She was once known as the girl who made some really creative fruit bouquets. Nowadays she’s easier recognized as the founder of Sweedie Pie Bakery. Antoinette Daniella Dalton (commonly called Daniella) now owns her own business, which involves the production of some of the finest cakes, pastries and desserts you may ever come across. She’s professionally trained, highly experienced and consistently aims to please her plethora of customers with treats made to satiate the sweetest of appetites. And now the world can make way for Sweedie Pie!
Daniella’s journey has been filled with great inspiration. And despite the expected challenges she faces as a business owner as she moves forward, she refuses to give up. She continues to slave away in the kitchen to ensure her customers’ needs are always met.
Sweedie Pie can make dreams happen
Daniella shared a few stories pertaining to how she treats with her customers. One customer heard of the quality cakes Daniella produces and in the midst of the busy Christmas season, contacted her to urgently place an order. The customer needed the cake in two days; though Daniella had been overbooked with cake orders for the holidays, she still stayed up all through the night baking this one cake for the new customer.
Another customer once came with an unusual request. He wanted a cake that looked like a pumpkin because, well, he always called his girlfriend, “pumpkin”. *Awwwwww, soooooo cute*. So Daniella had the fun challenge of figuring out how to carve the cake while ensuring it didn’t look like a jack-o’-lantern! But she certainly was up to the task because she easily managed it.
And then there was this customer who also happened to be a first time mom. This lady wanted a special cake to say thank you to some nurses who assisted her at the hospital when she was delivering her baby. While the woman’s cake request was more on the simpler side, it’s these special moments that Daniella lives for. She just loves putting a smile on customers’ faces so they can go make others smile even more.
